The Organization
Educational Opportunities are a volunteer organization in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to assisting youth who have the academic ability but not the financial means to attend college through scholarships, textbook and travel support, and mentoring. It was founded in 1965 and is led by a 40+ person Board of Trustees and a 20+ member Advisory Board. In 2019, the organization granted nearly $500,000 in scholarships and awards to 57 students from Dallas area magnet schools.
The Objective
Educational Opportunities wanted to update their website and branding to bolster their online presence to celebrate their loyal supporters and cultivate new ones. They also aimed to shift their intake process and contact management online to streamline their data entry process, while better accommodating their scholars. Finally, the organization wanted to modernize their donation system, moving from paper checks to online card processing that integrates with their contact database.

This decade old website featuring D.I.Y. branding was in need of a facelift.

The dynamic new website is fresh and functional, featuring responsive design for mobile devices.
